Toffee’s sign full-back and show interest in Butland

Premier League Everton have completed the £5million signing of Costa Rica international full-back Bryan Oviedo from Danish club FC Copenhagen. The versatile star has impressed Everton boss David Moyes in the last few seasons.

Oviedo can play as a left-back or on the left side of midfielder. The 22 year-old has been brought in as cover for Leighton Baines and Steven Pienaar on the left side of the Toffee’s midfield. Oviedo is highly-rated.

The Toffee’s are also interested in signing Birmingham and England keeper Jack Butland. The young keep is rated as the best young up and coming keeper in the England setup. Birmingham don’t wish to sell the youngster, but Butland is believed to be interested in the move to Goodison Park.

Butland has also been linked with a move to Arsenal and Liverpool this summer. It looks like Everton could now have jumped to the front of the queue to sign Butland.
