Gunners target re-iterates decision to leave Fiorentina

Arsenal transfer target Steven Jovetic has re-iterated his decision to leave Italian club Fiorentina this summer. The Montenegro international has impressed in his time with the Viola and has now attracted the interest of a number of teams, including the Gunners, who have been linked with a £30million bid for Jovetic.

The forward has revealed that he has a number of options this summer. Italian giants Juventus are believed to be long-term admirers of Jovetic and look ready to make a move for the highly-rated star this summer. Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Chelsea are also reportedly looking to sign Jovetic.

If Jovetic does arrive at the Emirates Stadium, he could replace Ivory Coast international forward Gervinho. The mercurial former-Lille star is a target for Ligue One club Marseille. According to reports in the Daily Mirror, the French club are set to launch a £12million bid for much-maligned star.

Gervinho moved to north London in 2010 for £10million and was highly-rated after impressing in the French top flight. However, the 26-year-old has struggled to find any consistency since his arrival. Despite Arsenal being short of attacking options last season, Gervinho struggled to be a regular first team starter.
