Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernandinho is being linked with a January move to the Premier League. The Brazilian international is highly-rated and has been touted as a target for many Premier League clubs in past transfer windows.
Fernandinho scored against Chelsea in Shakhtar’s recent 2-0 Champions League victory and it seems he would like to face Premier League opposition on a more regular basis.
He told the press: “If I had the opportunity to play in the Premier League I think that my qualities would improve even further,”
“I like England a lot. It is a beautiful country and if I had the opportunity to live here, it would be very good for me and my family.”
Ironically Chelsea has been one of the clubs linked with signing the playmaker, but despite past interest it’s unlikely that the Blues will renew their interest in January.
