Valenciennes still hopeful of landing Miyaichi

Valenciennes coach Daniel Sanchez has said that he is still optimistic of being able to take Arsenal’s Japanese starlet Ryo Miyaichi on loan till the end of the current 11/12 season.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger recently revealed that he was unsure of whether or not to send the 19 year old out on loan, but a decision must now be quickly made as the January window draws to a close. Valenciennes are not the only side in the running for Miyaichi, with Bolton, who took Jack Wilshere on loan last season and Dutch giants Feyenoord Rotterdam also touted as possible destinations for the Japan forward. Miyaichi spent the latter half of last season on loan at Feyenoord.
