FC Twente have officially announced the signing of AC Milan’s American defender Oguchi Onyewu on loan till the end of the season. The Dutch Eredivisie champions were in the market for a defender following injuries to Nicky Kuiper and Dwight Tiendalli and Onyewu, who has had his spell at Milan ravaged by injuries, fit the bill perfectly.
Twente are currently coached by Belgian goalkeeping legend Michel Preudd’Homme who managed Onyewu at FC Twente before the latter’s move to Italy.
