According to reports in France, Fulham have made a 3.5 million euro bid for young Racing Clube de Lens defender Serge Aurier. Lens currently play in Ligue 2 following their relegation from Le Championnnat in 2010/11 and the Cottagers are hoping that the lure of a higher level of football in the Premier League will lure Aurier across the Channel.
Fulham are not the only club to be interested in the young right back’s services. Spurs, Blackburn Rovers and Getafe have all reportedly been keeping tabs on his progress.
The 18 year old Aurier has been with Lens since 2006, when he joined Les Sang et Or from Villepinte. He had a breakthrough season last year at Lens, making 27 appearances for the north French outfit in Ligue 1.
