Reading have completed the signing of young Joseph Mills from Southampton for an undisclosed fee. Joseph, the younger brother of former Reading star Matt, has signed a one year contract with the Royals that is extendable by a further twelve months. The 21 year old is a left sided player and can play at both left back and left midfield.
Mills started his career with Southampton and has also had previous loan spells at Doncaster and Scunthorpe. He caught the eye of pundits with his performances for Saints in the 2010 Johnstone Paint Trophy, which they won by beating Carlisle United 4-1.
Mills is a former England youth international and has been capped at U17 and U18 levels.
