QPR agree fee with Man Utd for Park

Queens Park Rangers have agreed a deal with Manchester United for the transfer of Park Ji Sung. The South Korean midfielder has been with Man Utd since joining from Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven in 2005 and the R’s have agreed to pay the Red Devils an initial fee of £2m, with the potential to rise to £5m.

Park is contracted to Man Utd till the end of the 2012/13 season. He will now undergo a medical with a view to finalise the transfer and the club’s owner Tony Fernandes is expected to announce the deal tomorrow.

Park has won four Premier League titles and one Champions League title with Manchester United.
