Premier League new boys Swansea City and Norwich are set to battle it out for the loan signing of Tottenham starlet Steven Caulker. The 19 year old centre half is in high demand and his impressive performances for Bristol City in the Championship last season have seen his stock rise exponentially. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp thinks very highly of Caulker but wishes him to have some more first team experience before picking him up for his first team squad at White Hart Lane.
Apart from Bristol, Caulker has also had a previous loan spell at Yeovil Town. He has also been capped by England at U19 and U21 levels. He was Bristol City’s Young Player of the 2010/11 season and is currently contracted to Spurs till 2013.
