Lewandowski linked with United move

Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski is again being linked with a move to Premier League Manchester United. The Polish international was linked with a big money move to Old Trafford in the summer.

However, a move never materialised and the Polish international striker stayed with the German champions. The 24 year-old appeared for the German champions against Manchester City in the Champions League last night in his team’s 1-1 draw.

Lewandowski missed a gilt edged opportunity and was denied by City keeper Joe Hart. At the Etihad Stadium the striker was being watched by both Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and assistant Mike Phelan.

A striker isn’t currently a priority for Manchester United with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie at Old Trafford. However, Lewandowski would offer a different sort of threat to that of Rooney or Van Persie and United still seem to be interested in signing the Poland international.
