Leicester City have completed the signing of Everton FC’s powerful Nigerian striker Yakubu on loan. The 28 year old forward will stay with the Foxes till the end of the season and could seal a permanent switch in the summer for a reported £4m.
The Nigerian had joined Everton from Middlesbrough for £11m four years ago.
Yakubu is Leicester manager Sven Goran Eriksson’s third signing of the January transfer window after Ben Mee and Sol Bamba.
