The winter transfer window has re-opened, and we’ve got deals flying in thick and fast in League One. Here is a look at some of the major early transfers.

Adam Hinshelwood- From Aldershot Town to Wycombe Wanderers

Shots skipper Adam Hinshelwood has joined Wycombe Wanderers on a free transfer till the end of the 2009-10 season. The transfer re-unites Hinshelwood with Wycombe manager Gary Waddock, who had signed the central defender from Brighton when he was managing the Shots. Hinshelwood is likely to make his debut for the Chairboys tomorrow against Norwich City.

Jim Goodwin- From Huddersfield Town to Oldham Athletic ( Loan)

Krisztian Timar- From Plymouth Argyle to Oldham Athletic ( Loan)

Huddersfield Town midfielder Jim Goodwin has moved to Oldham on a month long loan. Latics boss Dave Penney has also snapped up Hungarian midfielder Krisztian Timar on loan for a month from Plymouth Argyle.

John-Joe O’Toole- From Watford to Colchester United

Young midfielder John-Joe O’Toole has made a permanent switch to the U’s and has signed a contract that will keep him at the Weston Homes Community Stadium till 2012.

Darren Ward- From Wolverhampton Wanderers to Millwall

31 year old defender Darren Ward has completed a permanent move to Millwall after a successful loan spell. It is a second homecoming of sorts for Ward, who played for the Lions between 2001 and 2005, raking up close to a 150 appearances in that period.
