Chelsea have completed the £3million signing of Chilean starlet Christian Cuevas from O’Higgins in the players home country. The youngster can play at both left-back and on the left side of midfield.
Cuevas impressed while having a trial with the Blues in February and the 18-year-old has now joined the club. Cuevas is a Chile under-20 international and rated as a player with a bright future in the game.
Another young Chelsea player Wallace is wanted by Italian teams Inter and Roma, who are looking at signing the full-back on a season-long loan deal.
