Celtic star Aiden McGeady is set to complete his multi million pound switch to Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow after Aston Villa ended their interest in the winger. Hoops boss Neil Lennon revealed that McGeady would be flying to Russia to put the final touches on the £9.5m transfer- the biggest outgoing one in Scottish football history.
McGeady will reportedly get £50,000 a week at Spartak.
Manager Lennon has said that he will be allowed to use all the cash from McGeady’s sale to bring in new reinforcements at Parkhead.
