Premier League Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil in a deal worth £42.5m, according to Sky Sports. The Germany international has impressed at the Bernabeu since his arrival in Spain, but his place is now under Threat after the world-record arrival of Gareth Bale in the Spanish capital.
Ozil has also been linked with a move to English champions Manchester United. However, it seems that French nouvre riche outfit PSG are the Gunners main competitors to sign the talented midfielder before the deadline later this evening.
