According to reports in the Daily Mirror Liverpool are plotting a £7million move for Swansea’s attacking midfielder Miguel Michu. The Spaniard has been one of the star players this season in the Premier League.
Liverpool are looking to add more firepower to their team in January and Michu has been in sensational form since joining the Swans in the summer. This form has seen the 26 year-old score 13 goals in 18 games this season.
Liverpool are interested in signing Michu, but £7million may not be enough to prise the Spaniard away from the Liberty Stadium.
Liverpool are also being linked with a move for West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame. The Senegal international has impressed since joining the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer, but has a release clause in his contract.
West Ham owner David Gold has admitted that the Hammers would be powerless to stop the midfielder leaving if he wished.
