United ready to offer Ronaldo £14m-a-year

According to reports it is believed that United will offer Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo an amazing £14million-a-year contract as they prepare an £80m bid, for the former Red Devils hero.

Ronaldo who spent six great years with United before joining Real Madrid in 2009, was linked with a return to his former club last summer and it is believed that the 30-year-old is unhappy at Real.

Reports also linking him with a move to current Premier League champions Manchester City but news sources suggest that United are favorites to win the race for his signature should the £80m offer turn out to be accepted.

Ronaldo first signed for United back in 2003 for £12.24 million and scored a remarkable tally of 84 goals in 196 appearances for the Red Devils.
