According to media reports, Bolton Wanderers are looking at the possibility of again bringing Daniel Sturridge on loan from Chelsea. The 21 year old spent the latter half of the 10/11 season on loan at the Reebok and impressed one and all with his performances, netting eight times in 12 appearances for the Trotters.
Sturridge has been impressive for Chelsea in their pre-season performances and netted a fabulous goal in their recent 4-0 win over Hong Kong outfit Kitchee. However the presence of both Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres may ensure that Sturridge have to be content with warming the bench at Stamford Bridge. The guarantee of regular football at Bolton and a possible shot at national football with England may be enough to lure Sturridge back to the North West.
