Rangers striker agrees Blackpool loan switch

Rangers striker John Fleck has agreed a loan switch to Championship outfit Blackpool. The striker will now stay at Bloomfield Road for the rest of the 2011/12 season. The 20 year old was farmed out on loan by Ibrox boss Ally McCoist to gain more first team experience. Fleck made only five appearances for the Gers during the current season and the loan reunites him with former Rangers stars Barry Ferguson and Danny Wilson.

Blackpool faced competition from Sheffield United for Fleck’s services but the striker chose the Seasiders over the Blades, who are in League One. Fleck could make his Blackpool debut as early as this weekend, when Ian Holloway’s side face Crystal Palace in the league.
