Liverpool’s Bruna seals Blackpool switch

Championship outfit Blackpool FC have completed the signing of youngster Gerardo Bruna from Liverpool. The 20 year old Argentine joined LFC from Real Madrid four years ago but failed to break into the first team and has left Anfield without making a single league appearance.

Mendoza born Bruna was part of the Spanish U17 side that won the 2008 European championships by beating France. He has signed a two year contract with Blackpool, with a further option for another twelve months.

Blackpool, who were relegated from the Premier League last season are also reportedly chasing Bruna’s team mate Tom Ince, but face competition from Fulham for his signature and have not yet been able to reach a deal for him.

Bruna is primarily a left sided attacking midfielder.
