Potters centre back moves to Bantams

Bradford City have completed the signing of defender Andrew Davies from Stoke City. The former England U-21 international has agreed a one year deal with the Bantams, thus making his move to Valley Parade permanent after spending most of the 2011-2012 season there on loan.

Davies, a Middlesbrough FC youth product, has also had previous stints with Queens Park Rangers, Derby County, Southampton, Preston North End, Sheffield United, Walsall and Crystal Palace, thus making him a much travelled footballer.

He joined Stoke in 2008 from Southampton but has made only four appearances over four seasons for the Staffordshire outfit.

Bradford City compete in League Two and will be hoping to improve upon their poor 2011/12 league showing.
