Duo agree fee for Celtic striker

Premier League Norwich and Championship QPR have both agreed a fee of around £5million with Scottish champions Celtic for striker Gary Hooper. QPR were believed to be in in the driving seat for the striker, but the former-Scunthorpe striker is now expected at Carrow Road to discuss personal terms and have a medical.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp believed that he had his man and that Hooper was heading for Loftus Road. However, the latest development means that Hooper is more likely to be playing Premier League football with Norwich next season, than Championship football with the Hoops.
