Canaries look to add some bite to their attack

Premier League Norwich City are desperate to add to their striking options before the transfer window shuts on Thursday. The Canaries are believed to be chasing Swansea’s Danny Graham. The striker is a man in-demand though.

North east outfit Sunderland and Reading have also shown an interest and the Black Cats were being linked with a £5million bid for the Swans top scorer from last season. Swansea boss Michael Laudrup doesn’t want to sell the striker, but Graham wants first team football. He has had to play second fiddle to Spanish sensation Michu this season.

Norwich have already had a bid of £8million turned down for Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel. However, the Portuguese giants rate the striker nearer to £12million and are not likely to budge on their valuation. The Dutch striker has attracted interest from all over Europe in recent seasons and is highly-rated.
