Blackburn look to revive interest in Huddersfield striker

According to reports from Sky Sports Championship Blackburn Rovers could revive their interest in Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes. The 22 year-old striker has been prolific in League One for the Terriers for the last few seasons.

The Scotland international scored 36 goals in League One last season to help Huddersfield Town to promotion to the Championship. He also won the Players Player of the Year award. Rhodes has been linked with moves to various different clubs this summer, including Everton, Fulham and Scottish giants Celtic.

Blackburn have also been tracking the striker for along time. Huddersfield are believed to be demanding £8million for their star asset, but have stated that they don’t want to lose their most dangerous striker this summer.

Time is running out for Rovers to complete a deal for the striker, but boss Steve Kean is hopeful of adding to his attack before the transfer window slams shut on Friday.
